Shark Search Indo-Pacific

Shark Search Indo-Pacific is seeking photographs of blue spotted lagoon rays (Taeniura lymma) and banded maskrays (Neotrygon kuhlii) from Australia, Fiji, New Caledonia, Vanuatu,  Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands. Scientists think that these two species are actually made up of a several species that look very similar to each other (click HERE to see the 2016 scientific paper discussing this issue).
